Neuromorph is a radically new artificial intelligence research company. Our aim is life-first. That means our work is inspired by biological phenomena and natural intelligence and conducted responsibly, in the interests of all life on earth.

Our Problem

1. Training and deploying large models is at present resource-intensive, with increasing and unsustainably large compute costs.

2. Moore’s Law is ending: we cannot expect the present paradigm to simply “scale up to AGI-level”.

3. Foundational AI technology, and ground-up customised models, are concentrated in the hands of the few. 

4. We know the brain consumes only 20W while maintaining its computational power. We also know that sparse, asynchronous activity is central to its efficiency.
